Geographic Exception (GE) for the 2025-26 SY  – April 4 is when our lottery will be held and notifications will be mailed out before the end of the day.

Geographic Exception
If you live out-of-district, you must have a Geographic Exception Request (GE) on file at Kalani High School. If you are applying to Kalani High School on a GE, the window for the next school year is from January 1 – March 1. Geographic Exceptions are granted by the Kalani High School Principal/Vice Principal.

Required GE Documents:

1. GE Request Form
2. Self-addressed, stamped envelope
3. Proof of your current address

* Current HIDOE public school students must submit the GE request & required documents to their CURRENT school
* All other students must submit the GE request & required documents to your home school (based on your home address)
